Lancing Rangers - Code of Conduct

As an FA Charter Standard Club, Lancing rangers requires the highest standard of behaviour at all times from it's officials,playing members,non playing members including parents & guardians,spectators and anyone else wishing to associate themselves with the club.

To help achieve that standard ,Lancing Rangers Football Club (L.R.F.C) have identified the following which constitutes the club code of conduct. Disregard of this code may lead to discipline, suspension or expulsion from membership of Lancing Rangers Football Club.

1. Adults must always set the best possible example for junior players and supporters to follow.

2. The use of offensive,abusive or insulting language including racist or sexist comments will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

3. The use of violence or the threat will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

4. Lancing Rangers Football Club puts particular importance on the good behaviour of the club officials, players and supporters towards match officials. It must be remembered that an appointed referee is in sole charge of the match and his or her decision is final.

Do not challenge or argue with a referee or his/her assistants

Do not use offensive, abusive or insulting language or threaten violence towards the match referee or his/her assistants.

Complaints regarding the standard of referees or their assistants must be in writing to the secretary of Lancing Rangers Football Club via the squad manager.

5. The Integrity of decisions made by the squad manager should be respected,as this difficult job needs support not criticism. Complaints must be addressed in writing directly to the Chairman of Lancing rangers Football Club.

6. At the request of the schools whose facilities we use as an example to junior members, Lancing Rangers Football Club operate a no smoking and no alcohol policy at training sessions and matches.

7. To enjoy the best in a game of football, avoid criticism, instead support, encourage and praise your team, regardless of the result, whilst treating your opponents with respect and courtesty.
