Winter Training

Updated: Mar 2, 2021

Its that time of the year... no not Christmas (not just yet anyway)!

Winter training is back and once again we will be hosting all our training sessions at Culver Road in Lancing. Unfortunately it seems like we will be ending the year with coronavirus well and truly at the forefront of our minds, and as a result strict new measures have had to be implemented to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our players, coaches, volunteers and you, the parents.

To reiterate, please DO NOT attend training sessions as a player, volunteer or spectator, if you or somebody in your household, or "bubble", has symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19.

Previously training sessions used to follow back-to-back, but to allow for social-distancing and to prevent mixing, a 15-minute break will be in place to separate the early session (9:00 - 10:00), and the late session (10:15 - 11:15).

Parking is, as always, limited on-site so if you are unfortunate enough to miss out we recommend parking in Lancing High Street or Annweir Avenue.

When arriving at the ground by car please remain in your car until a few minutes before the start of the training session. If arriving by foot, please be aware of your surroundings and remain distanced outside of the stadium.

Access to the stadium is not permitted before the allocated start time so please DO NOT turn up early where possible.

Entry to the ground is via the normal main turnstile gate, and upon entry to the ground, a non-contact temperature check will be in place, alongside a mandatory handwashing station. The Track and Trace System will be in operation via the NHS app, or via written contact details. This system will only be applicable for parents and spectators as all players details for each squad is kept by the relevant manager.

Whilst inside the stadium, please limit contact on all surfaces, maintain social-distancing and wear a mask when in close proximity to others. If seated, please be mindful of others and keep at least 2 seats apart.

At the end of the training session, exiting the stadium will now be at the furthest turnstile as marked in the image below. Please ensure you leave the stadium as quickly as possible after the training session and DO NOT hang around in the car park as others on the late session will be arriving.

The footwear guide for the 3G artificial pitch can be found below:

We can't thank everybody enough for all their cooperation and we can't wait to see you all on Saturday 7th November for the start of the winter training sessions!
